What the Detroit Lions Should do Witrh the #2 Overall Selection

The Lions, again, are at the top of the first round. They are a team that needs help in a lot of areas but is solid in a few, like quarterback since they just took Matt Stafford last year. This year they need to approach it in the same fashion in that they just need the best player available. That player will probably be Ndamakung Suh if Sam Bradford is selected first. If Bradford is selected first this could open more options for the Lions.

When the first quarterback is off the board then other teams begin to get scared and want to get the other elite quarterback this year it being Jimmy Clausen. This could open a trade route for the Lions which would be their best bet at hacving a successful draft. If someone trades with them and they can stay in the top ten picks they could get a real asset like Russel Okung at left tackle which would move Backus inside to guard. If they move down there is really no wrong way to go.
